In Loving Memory of Felicia A. Moyer 🕊️
With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, family, friends, and community members mourn the tragic loss of Felicia A. Moyer, whose life was cut short following a devastating motorcycle crash on the evening of March 10, 2026. Felicia was only 24 years old, yet in her short time on earth she touched the lives of many with her vibrant spirit, kindness, and passion for life.
According to authorities from the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the collision occurred at approximately 5:23 p.m. on East Pottsville Street (Route 443), just east of School Street in Pine Grove Township. Felicia was riding her motorcycle eastbound along the roadway when the tragic incident occurred.
Police reported that an 81-year-old driver, Timothy C. O’Rourke of Lykens, was operating a 2006 Ford Econoline E250 van and was attempting to make a left turn onto East Pottsville Street. At the same time, Felicia was traveling east on her motorcycle when the two vehicles collided. The motorcycle struck the front driver’s side of the van during the turn.
Felicia sustained critical injuries in the crash. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and she was transported by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital–East for urgent medical care. Despite the tireless efforts of medical professionals who worked to save her life, Felicia sadly succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities confirmed that Felicia was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and the driver of the van was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, with assistance from the specialized reconstruction team of the Pennsylvania State Police.
While the details of the accident are still being examined, what remains undeniable is the profound loss felt by everyone who knew and loved Felicia. She was more than the circumstances of that tragic evening—she was a daughter, a friend, and a young woman with dreams, passions, and a future that held so much promise.
Felicia was known for her adventurous spirit and love for the open road. Riding her motorcycle was more than just a hobby—it was a reflection of her free soul and fearless approach to life. She embraced every moment with enthusiasm, and those who spent time with her remember her bright smile, warm heart, and the joy she brought into every room she entered.
Friends describe Felicia as someone who lived authentically and loved deeply. She had a unique way of making people feel valued and understood. Whether sharing laughter with friends, spending time with family, or simply enjoying the freedom of a ride beneath the open sky, Felicia lived life with passion and courage.
Her sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family and the community of Auburn, where she called home. The grief felt by those who loved her is immeasurable, but so too is the gratitude for the memories she leaves behind.
