85-Year-Old Arizona Man Identified as Victim in Fatal I-25 Crash
The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) has identified the victim of today’s fatal crash on Interstate 25 as an 85-year-old man from Arizona.
According to CSP, the crash occurred earlier in the day on northbound I-25 near the CanAm Highway exit, when the vehicle the man was driving left the roadway and crashed. Despite the quick response of emergency personnel, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved, and investigators continue to look into what may have caused the crash. Authorities are examining factors such as driver fatigue, medical issues, or road conditions as potential contributors.
The man’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of his family.
Traffic in the area was temporarily delayed as troopers worked to investigate and clear the scene. The roadway has since been reopened.
