Cristoval, a lifelong resident of Yuma, passed away in a devastating crash at the intersection of Levee Easement Road and Avenue 2 1/2 E, leaving behind loved ones and a community that will dearly miss his presence.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, Cristoval was driving a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta eastbound along the north side of Levee Easement Road when his vehicle collided with the front of a parked trailer loaded with irrigation poles. First responders from Rural Metro Fire arrived promptly at the scene, but tragically, Cristoval was pronounced deceased at the location of the crash.
