Woman Dies Following Crash in Kernersville
A woman has died following a crash in Kernersville, according to local police.
Officers responded to the scene around 3:49 p.m. Thursday after reports of a wreck at the intersection of Hopkins Road and Bluff School Road. When emergency personnel arrived, they found one of the drivers, identified as Linda Bowman Roberson, suffering from serious injuries.
Roberson was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but, sadly, passed away on Friday as a result of her injuries, police confirmed.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine what led to the collision. At this time, no additional details have been released regarding other vehicles or individuals involved.
The Kernersville Police Department extended its condolences to Roberson’s family and friends during this difficult time.
