Two People and Dog Found Dead Inside Neptune Beach Home
NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — Authorities are investigating after two people and their dog were found dead inside a home on Saturday night, according to the Neptune Beach Police Department.
Police say officers were called to the residence for a welfare check when they discovered the bodies of two adults and their pet inside. Investigators have not released the identities of the deceased or the cause of death at this time.
A commander with the department confirmed that the investigation is active, and additional information will be released once next of kin have been notified.
Authorities say there is no immediate threat to the public as they work to determine what led to the tragic discovery.
