Lorain County Fatal Crash Under Investigation
PENFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Lorain County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers from the Elyria Post responded to the scene at approximately 6:41 a.m. on Foster Road in Penfield Township. Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles involved in a serious collision.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of family members.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Authorities are urging drivers to use caution and remain alert, especially during early morning travel hours.
