In Loving Memory of Sutton’s Own ― Tahjea W. Raye-White

It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor the life of Tahjea W. Raye-White, age 30, of Millbury, who tragically passed away on Sunday afternoon, October 19, following a motorcycle accident on Purgatory Road in Sutton.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m., Sutton police and fire personnel responded to reports of a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a car. Fire Chief Matthew Belsito confirmed that emergency crews arrived quickly at the scene, where they found Tahjea critically injured. Despite the best efforts of first responders, he was later transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center — University Campus in Worcester, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver and passengers of the car were treated at the scene and declined medical transport. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.

Tahjea was known to family, friends, and all who met him as a vibrant, passionate, and kindhearted young man. His energy, laughter, and love for life were contagious. He had a deep appreciation for motorcycles, freedom, and the open road — passions that reflected his fearless spirit and zest for living life on his own terms.

Those who knew Tahjea will remember him not only for his love of riding but also for the warmth and loyalty he showed to everyone around him. Whether he was sharing a laugh, lending a helping hand, or simply being there for a friend in need, his presence brought light and comfort to others.
