In Loving Memory of Holly (Hunter) Hill
It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our beloved teachers, Holly (Hunter) Hill. This morning, we received the unimaginable call that Holly passed away unexpectedly, leaving a deep void in our school community and in the hearts of all who knew her.
Holly was much more than an educator — she was a light in our halls, a mentor to her students, and a cherished colleague to all who had the privilege of working beside her. A proud Elgin Alumni, Holly’s love for this community ran deep. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her students, always going above and beyond to ensure that each child felt valued, supported, and capable of greatness.
Beyond her role as a teacher, Holly was a devoted mother, loving wife, and loyal friend. Her kindness, compassion, and joyful spirit touched countless lives. She brought warmth and positivity wherever she went, and her genuine care for others will be remembered forever.
Holly truly embodied what it means to be an Owl through and through — leading with heart, teaching with purpose, and inspiring with love. Her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she shaped and the community she so deeply loved.
