Teen Killed in Early-Morning Crash in Chisago City Identified as Ashton Oseth
CHISAGO CITY, Minn. — In the early morning quiet of October 25, 2025, tragedy struck Chisago City in a moment that changed countless lives forever.
At approximately 1:58 a.m., Chisago County Dispatch received an automated crash notification near Stacy Trail and Ivywood Trail. Responding deputies and emergency personnel arrived to find a serious crash involving a 2014 Toyota Camry carrying three teenagers — a 14-year-old driver and two 15-year-old passengers.
Among them was Ashton Oseth, a young life filled with promise, laughter, and love. Despite the efforts of first responders, Ashton tragically passed away at the scene due to his injuries. The other two teens were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
